2- Fields of activity of the laboratory (objectives and research/industrial services that can be provided):

 

• Studying, simulating and developing methods to evaluate and improve the power quality of power systems
• Study and analysis of network power quality indicators in the field of electric energy distribution and transmission
• Extraction of models and formulations of allocation of power quality evaluation indicators and development of standards according to regional conditions
• Carrying out activities related to measuring power quality parameters and comparing them with international standards
• Evaluation and testing of equipment used in the network, such as motors, generators, transformers, etc., in terms of power quality indicators
• Holding specialized courses in accordance with power quality topics along with software modeling 

 

3- Research facilities:

 

• Power Quality Analyzer ANALYST 3QC  series to evaluate power quality indicators such as harmonics, imbalance, interference, etc.
• Computer systems and modeling boards for testing and evaluation in simulation systems
• Power supply, oscilloscope and other electronic equipment to produce standard signals of power quality indicators
• Power Factory DIgSILENT  and PSCAD software  original version along with all their software functions and their manuals

• Project Title: Separation of Harmonic Contribution of Load and Ahvaz Electricity Distribution Network at Common Connection Point ( PCC ) using Correlation Analysis of Measured Voltage and Current

• Project Title: Conducting study services to determine the harmonic share by industrial and network subscribers

o         Employer: Khuzestan Regional Electricity Company

 

• Project Title: Analyzing the power quality of distribution networks and providing a solution to modify and standardize them
