2- Introduction of the research group

 Modernization of electrical installations and systems is one of their inherent and continuous needs and guarantees the stable and reliable operation of these systems. In fact, modernization of power facilities and networks effectively improves their safety, reliability and efficiency. Different aspects of changes in a power system, which is called "modernization", include the use of new technologies in order to make changes in installations and power systems that make these systems more reliable, flexible, and safer, as well as reducing costs and problems. It becomes environmental. In this regard, it is necessary to examine the hardware and software required by modern systems in research centers and based on them, provide suitable solutions for modernizing facilities and power systems, according to their specifications and type of work. Based on this, the purpose of establishing this group is to research and investigate methods and equipment that are used to update and improve the operation of electrical installations and systems. From this point of view, the goals of this research group are to conduct research related to modernization, new automation mechanisms and implementation of monitoring and control systems for networks and different parts of electrical installations.

• Applied research in the field of new technologies required for industrial automation and implementation of monitoring and control systems
• Research in the field of designing new and modern systems of electrical installations and systems
• Protection and control of DC networks

 

4-  Research/industrial projects (completed or ongoing)

• The project " Comprehensive studies and design of industrial automation systems for steelmaking processes " with Peshgaman Fould Zubhum Company
• Project " Optimizing the design of electrical facilities related to Khuzestan Steel Company's projects " with Peshgaman Steel South Company
• Cooperation with the project " Compilation of special soil resistance atlas in the area covered by the Ahvaz Electricity Distribution Company and simulation of the appropriate ground connection system in different cities of Ahvaz " with the Ahvaz Electricity Distribution Company
• Cooperation with the project " Performing research and consulting services in order to formulate research needs and technology development in the framework of the 5-year plan of the Khuzestan Water and Electricity Organization " with the Khuzestan Water and Electricity Organization
