Electric Workshop

Objectives:

In terms of hardware potential, the electrical workshop has two workshop sets each one consisting three tables. The technical specifications and educational objectives of using the mentioned equipment (in the form of 24 practical experiments) are:

1. Building lighting and electrical circuits:

The said collection includes all kinds of switches, sockets, safety switches, staircase timers, miniatures, digital meters, fluorescent lamps, incandescent lamps, fire alarm systems, photocells, dimmers, and video door-phones. Training for the use of collection equipment is designed and organized in the form of 12 practical experiments.

2. The set of command and control circuits of electric machines:

The said collection includes types of single-phase and three-phase motors, water cooler motor, Dalander motor, contactor, timer, bimetal and phase control relay... This collection provides the possibility of practical training of starting types such as star-delta, left-handed-right-handed induction motors (three-phase-single-phase) instantaneously and with a time interval - manual and automatic. The use of this collection is practical training in the design and implementation of electrical control circuits. For this purpose, 12 practical experiments have been designed and arranged.

Workshop equipment:

• Three-phase and single-phase motor control circuit laboratory set

• Training set of fire alarm and gas detection system

• Oscilloscope

• Function generator

• Power supply

• Multimeter

• Thermometer

• Barometer

• Cosine phi meter
