Modal Analysis Laboratory

Modal analysis evaluates the inherent dynamic properties of structures. It is also used to construct lighter, stronger, safer and more economical structures. In our modal laboratory, utilizing B&K vibration test equipment together with PULSE Labshop software, one can extract time response, frequency spectrum and frequency response functions (FRFs) of structures under impact or ambient excitations. The FRFs can then be exported to ICATS software for further processing. The available equipment in the modal laboratory includes the followings:
